New Books, New Hair, Nelly Furtado | Little Loves 16/52

We are back to normality this week! How depressing!! Its been a very quick school/work week. G and H went back on Tuesday and Mr B has been off for the past 2 days which is nice {he does have to work the weekend though, boo hoo} Its nice to have a bit of routine back in my life, but I am most definitely missing the lazy mornings already!

I picked up a few books last week from Waterstones. One being Strictly Between Us. I am really enjoying it and am getting through it pretty quickly. I also bought two others which I am really looking forward to reading them, one was featured on Lets Talk Mommy last week in her Little Loves, The Kind Worth Killing!

I am having The Walking Dead withdrawals, anyone else? I missed sitting down to watch it this week! A few good things have started this week though. Scott and Bailey {ITV} Its definitely a favourite of mine. I also watched Killed By My Father {BBC} and it took me by surprise and I hate to think that, that actually happens in todays society. If you have not watched it I am sure its still on iPlayer.

The one I want to talk about this week though is The Tunnel: Sabotage! Who tuned in? I loved the first season and I was a bit worried at how they would actually bring another one back, but judging by the first episode its going to be a great season. I have to admit, I felt a bit lost at the beginning but it started to come together half way through and I cannot wait for episode 2!

Can you believe it was 10 years since Nelly Furtado released “Im Like A Bird”? Shocking! Where I used to work they played this particular song from her album over and over and it soon became a song I would be constantly singing along to. I heard it the other day and just had to share..

No coat! How amazing does it feel to just wear a wrap! I tell you its wonderful. I also had my hair cut last week and its taking a bit of getting used to! Last year I decided to grow it with the image of long beach wavy hair in my head, but it didn’t get to that! It did get long and I got fed up with it, so went for a LOB {long bob!} but I feel too much was cut off, so I am eager for it to grow just below my shoulders that littlest more!

A mess! I didn’t Mr B did. We have this horrible boxed in feature on our ceiling in our lounge and as our electrics are being done next week he decided to smash it up! I was NOT a fan of the dust. It went everywhere and it was just a little taster of whats going to hit me in the next few weeks!!

We also tidied up the garden and made it look pretty. I love seeing flowers bloom. I thought after the first year of having a garden I would get really bored with it, but I am like a big kids in a candy store when it comes to flowers blooming!

‘And lastly..’

Mr B is working this weekend which is a complete bummer as I hate it. I have decided to take myself off to my mums tomorrow and then on Sunday H has a birthday party to go to. G isn’t entirely happy as she has to tag along and she thinks its really uncool to go to a 5th party! Oh the joys of a 7 year olds mind!

Have a lovely weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

I love Scott and Bailey! I caught up with the new episode last night and think it’s going to be a great series. Suranne Jones is brilliant as is Lesley Sharp, very talented actresses. Have a great week 🙂 #LittleLoves

It started of with a bang didn’t it? I knew she would be pregnant, they had to write her real pregnancy in somehow! Cannot wait to see where this series leads..
