Little Love 5/52

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

So without too much waffling, this is what I have been loving this week!

I was so good last week reading my book, but this week the Kindle has been firmly closed! I did purchase a trashy magazine and ended up reading it whilst I waited for H to finish play school!

I don’t think there is going to be a week that goes by when someone from #littlelove will not mention Broadchurch! I am so caught up in it and I really look forward to my Tuesday morning catchup!

Moo and her swimming! She is doing so well, and although her little operation has set her back, she really tries each week! She is so worried about getting her ears wet she hangs back a bit, but she has really improved over the last few weeks!

I also watched Moo depart for her first school trip last Friday and it was gut wrenching! She had a blast and came back full of stories!

I am quite literally loving Ed Sheeran at the moment, I was never a fan, but I think he is so talented.. This has been playing a lot on the radio, something I have nodding along to!

Im stumped this week what too put here, obviously I wore stuff, but its nothing to shout about! The normal, Jeans, Uggs, Gloves..

I “made” my blog look a bit fresher! I always like to give it a little spruce up every now and then.. It took me all day on sunday to work out some of the CSS but I finally got there!

I also made a sponge cake Sunday afternoon {in between blog tweaking!} There is nothing better than ducking into a Victoria sponge late Sunday evening!

I also finally picked up my hook, and continued with my ripple blanket, I am currently on a crochet high and am continuing with the blanket everyday! Its coming along really nicely..

‘And lastly..’

H is booked in for his op for March! My stomach is currently doing summersaults and I am so nervous about it! I am hoping we don’t have the same trouble we had with Moo with all the cancellations!

It was my 8th year anniversary this week too, and although we didn’t do anything we are ordering a curry tomorrow night and having a little tipple in doors to celebrate! Chin Chin…

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

I’d love to learn to crochet. In fact, I may add that to my ever growing list of things I’d like to do this year!!

Once you know how, its so easy! I could sit and do it all day if I could!

Happy Anniversary luvvie! I love your new blog look – very pretty. I’m always a sucker for anything pink! 🙂 and that blanket is just beautiful too. Eva and I were trying to teach ourselves to crochet via Youtube a few weeks ago, but it was disastrous! I think we definitely need proper lessons! 🙂 Have a great weekend chicky xxx

Oh I totally agree, I went to one lesson and on the back of that was able to do a Granny Square, once I knew the basics I was fine with it.. I still YouTube some stitches as its easier! Definitely try a class, its so relaxing 😉

Ooh I need some tips on CSS – that stuff scares me! I’m afraid I’ll somehow manage to delete my whole blog just trying to adjust a font or something! I wish I could crochet like that too – that blanket is amazing! Happy Anniversary and good luck for the operation. X #littleloves

    • January 30, 2015 / 9:47 am

Its so simple once you know the basic of crocheting! CSS and me do not mix! lol.. It was hard work!

I am such a fan of Ed Sheeran and totally loving his new album, my sister and i actually got to see him perform live at a tribute concert in 2013 and he was brilliant! CSS can be so confusing but i’m loving the new touches you’ve made to the blog! Happy 8th Anniversary to you and the hubby, hope you have a lovely weekend and enjoy the curry! xxx #LittleLoves

Happy Anniversary – seems to be the week for celebrations on Little Loves! I love the colours of that blanket, it looks really cosy as well, I wish I could make things like that! Or at least I wish I had the time and patience to learn! And you know about CSS. I haven’t ventured down that path yet either, but brilliant that you do these things! Happy weekend x

    • January 30, 2015 / 10:40 am

The blanket is very cosy! Cannot wait to finish it 🙂 x happy weekend x

It’s my first week linking up so hello there! *waves* So the crochet is totally overshadowing everything here – I ADORE what you’re doing – is it a pattern? I’d love to try it. Crochet is pretty much the only craft I’m any good at so you’re inspiring me to get my hook out again! Hope you have a lovely weekend – Avril x

    • January 30, 2015 / 10:44 am

It’s Attic24.. Head over to her blog, it’s amazing, she has lots of patterns on there.. I’ve slightly tweaked the pattern though as I wanted mine to be slightly different 🙂 thanks so much for popping by xx

  11. January 30, 2015 / 12:00 pm

I admire your CSS skills. I am in the process of learning to knit. I am quite bad but I hope to pick it up soon. I try to stay patient tough. So, good job on the crocheting. I am in awe. I love Ed Sheeran too. Love the music and him too. I have a thing for red head boys, I can’t help it. Have a good weekend! x

    • January 30, 2015 / 12:39 pm

I had a little help with CSS, so I cannot take all the credit! lol.. Thanks for popping by xx
