Little Love 2/52

We are back to normality this week and its hit us hard! Ive got so used to the two weeks off, and not having to be anywhere the school runs have knocked us all for six and the tiredness has kicked in. Its amazing how a change in routine can mess you up! I am looking forward to relaxing over the weekend! Mr B is working so as of yet we have no plans..

So without further ado, here are my little loves this week..

I am carrying on with my book on the Kindle and so far so good {The Fault In Our Stars} I only manage a few pages every so many days, but I am still reading! I have also been catching up with lots and lots of blog reading. I have linked up with quite a few linkys so its been nice to read other blogs!

Broadchurch did not fail to disappoint! It started with a bang and so unexpected! I honestly thought it would just start afresh but I think this series is going to be up there with the first! I have a slight crush on David Tenant too!

We started watching the second season of The Fall and we are watching one episode a night.. It quite gripping, but as of yet I am not entirely impressed with the second season..

Yesterday, my sky box pack up and I lost all recordings I have previously made thanks  to a not so helpful call centre guy! I am gutted, as our box was 98% full and we were slowly making our way through it! Sky got quite an earful from me, especially because we lost Moo’s CBeebies card being shown on her second birthday!

I am currently a HUGE fan of this song, so huge I have had it on repeat most days.. Its a song that makes me smile at the moment and its definitely a good’un

Yesterday the weather was horrendous and it rained non-stop! I absolutely hate doing the school run in the rain and the only good thing about it is the kiddies get to go straight in! I dug out my purple Hunters and added a pop of colour to my attire! {I forgot to take a picture!} Luckily the rain had stopped for the 3:15 pickup!

I have also been wearing huge blankets to snuggle under whilst sitting on the sofa!

My sister came over for dinner on Monday, so I made a devilish banoffee pie! It has to be one of my favourite desserts and I have previously blogged about my love for it and you can grab the recipe here

‘And lastly..’

I just want to thank everyone for their lovely comments on last weeks Little Love about Moo and her operation. She is doing really and its made a huge impact on her hearing. Your comments and kind words really mean a lot!

Hope you all have a lovely weekend!

  • I am currently under a massive blanket on the sofa! With my woolly hat on! 🙂 So freezing at the moment. I hate the school run in the rain too – miserable! Oh, wasn’t Broadchurch fab? I’m excited to see how it all pans out. Have a great weekend chicky xx

  • Everyone is raving about this broadchurch. Where have I been hiding? I have never heard of it. Must check it out now. lol Thanks. Fault in our stars is the saddest book and movie ever. I was sobbing. Lovely #littleloves as always. Look forward to another great year of it. #littleloves

    • Aww Thanks Jenny! Seriously catch up with Broadchurch if you can! I didn’t watch it when it aired, I caught up with it after as there was so much hype about it! ITV must have the first series on demand, if they do I would highly recommend watching it 🙂 xx

  • We are all struggling with getting back into a routine here too. I think we will sleep all weekend!
Sky boxes are a pain. Ours broke 3 times in 6 months so we cancelled it and now download what we want to watch for free.Such a shame to have lost your cbeebies tape of Moo’s birthday. Glad her operation went well x #littleloves

  • Everyone is feeling the pain of returning to routine this week. Bless, I hope next week goes better. I am also a huge banoffee fan, but I only allow myself to have it about twice, I dread to think of the calories and I certainly don’t need any more lol! Happy weekend!

  • Is there any of that pie left?! Oh that is such a shame about the Sky box. Hopefully you can track down the shows you lost and maybe CBeebies could come to your rescue…we could all RT on twitter (make a campaign of it!) Hope you have a nice weekend 🙂 #littleloves

  • I love David Tennant, and he is not usually my type but there’s just something about him. We will be glued to Broadchurch every week, but a bit gutted that Silent Witness and The Undateables and Revenge is all on at the same time! xx

  • I nogg everyone would be having a hard time with being back in a routine this week!! Weather here has been horrendous aswell, so this weekend we will be mostly hiding under blankets like you!! I have recorded broad church, so I’ve whisked past that bit in case I read too much!! Hope you have a great weekend xxxxx

  • I just posted a long comment and it disappeared!! How annoying!! Anyway great #littleloves! I need to go downstairs and watch my recorded Broadchurch before I read anymore of the posts as I think ye have all watched it!! Weather here is terrible too, so will be spending the weekend under the covers like you I’d imagine!! Hope you have a lovely weekend xxxx

  • Awww Riley started preschool last week and i’m seriously struggling with the early starts and new routine, please tell me it gets easier? Broadchurch for you as well – everyone is raving about it and i haven’t seen a single episode. Clearly i’m missing out on something. xxx #LittleLoves

  • I was a little disappointed with The Fall, let me know when you’ve finished it I’d love to know what you think of the ending.
So pleased that Moo’s operation went well and that it’s already helping her.
    Have a lovely week xx
