LESSON INSIGHTS, DARYL HALL & JOHN OATES, FLAMINGOS {AGAIN} | LITTLE LOVE 5/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. Its the first #LittleLoves of February!! How is that even possible? January seems so long ago now, even though we are only 3 days into the 2nd month!

I am so glad its Friday. I am starting to begrudge the school run and I am on full countdown to half term. It gets to a point in term time when I have had enough of the routine and would much rather have the slower paced mornings! Anyone else feel like that?

I have been loving lots of things this week though, so without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Read

I read so many #LittleLove posts last week! I absolutely love this linky {I am always banging on about it!} and have been joining in with Morgana from the start and I have loved the way its evolved. I really really enjoyed Morgana’s Vlog round up as well! If I had the balls I would do one too, but I hate my voice on camera, I sound too common!

Watched

This week I went into school and sat in on a a mornings lesson with G and H. G had Maths and I was a little nervous as Maths is not one of favourite subjects! G did really well and I thoroughly enjoyed watching how the teacher came across. I have nothing but good things to say about him. H had English and i was amazed at how confident he came across in class! He wasn’t shy to put up his hand and answer questions.

We finally finished the latest season of Ray Donavon. Oh Ray….. Anyway, I absolutely loved it and if anyone is looking for something to watch its definitely at the top of my recommendations!

Heard

As I was driving back from the school run this week, I heard a classic. I absolutely love it and I whacked it up loud and sang along till my hearts content. Good old Smooth Extra!

Wore

I bought the most amazing jumper last week. Everyone by now should now how much of a flamingo addict I am. Everyone I talk too about them always ask me why, and to be honest I have no idea. A friend pointed out the new collection from Next to me and one of the items was a flamingo jumper. I was rather frustrated it was out of stock online BUT I popped in last week and managed to purchase it in store! I love the pattern, its been delicately sewn and I have had lots of comments about it already!

Made

G and I made a start on her homework this week. Its all about famous artists and she chose Picasso. She did her own version of one of his famous paintings and she did a really good job! I have a budding artist on my hands. She loves to draw and re-create images so this homework was definitely  one that she enjoyed!

And lastly..

I am back in for another op today {hopefully the last for a while} I always get so nervous beforehand. I have not been sleeping well this past week so I am hoping once this last procedure is done I will have a better night sleep tonight. Mr B is treating me to a curry when we get back. Friday is normally our homemade curry night but I managed to persuade him to get one in!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

It sounds like you’ve had a lovely week. I bet it was really nice being able to watch the kids in class. Alexander is in preschool, and I can hardly get a word out of him as to what he actually did, just that it was a good day! The jumper is lovely! I hope the op goes well today. Wishing you a lovely weekend!

It’s such a lovely insight! I always say I would love to just hide on the corner and sneakily watch them at school! It’s wonderful that the school give us the opportunity to go in xx

I love the detail of the flamingo prin. What a great insight being able to watch the children in their classes. I would love to be able to see what Olivia gets up to at nursery.

Love that song! And how perfect for you is your flamingo jumper! Ha ha I always think I’m too common to record my voice too – although I either do my work ‘phone voice’ which sounds so posh my own mum doesn’t recognise me when I answer the phone, or common and there’s no middle ground. I love this linky too. Definitely makes me see the positives each week and lately its been great for discovering new bloggers and of course lots of nice things to treat myself to. Hope your op went ok x

February – I know right?! It’s gone ridiculously fast! Anyway, ha. What an oldie that song is but yep, the second I hit play I was sat there wiggling my toes 😀 That jumper is BEAUTIFUL! How gorgeous, hope it lasts a good long time for you. Hope your operation went OK and you enjoyed the curry x #LittleLoves

I love your flamingo jumper, Oasis have a flamingo t-shirt in store at the moment and I thought of you when I saw it. I’m pretty sure you’d love it!
I hate my voice on camera too, I always think I sound like an 8 year old! xx
