KILLER WOMEN, BASTILLE, CURLS | LITTLE LOVES 20/52

What a week! The weather was so lovely last weekend, and then it gradually got worse as the week has progressed. Thankfully its started to brighten up which is what we all like! I have been in the garden this week and we have had lots of plants that have bloomed rather nicely! Without too much waffling this is what else I have been loving.

Read

I am really enjoying The Kind Worth Killing. It has really picked up steam and I find myself not wanting to put it down. I am reading it at every spare moment, in the car waiting for G and H to finish school and then I have been making easier trips to bed so I can squeeze in some night time reading. I reckon I will have finished by next week!

Watched

Who watched The Secret this week? The second episode aired on Friday evening and it was rather chilling. James Nesbitt plays a rather sinister character and even I am quite disturbed by the way he comes across!

I also watched Killer Women with Piers Morgan. Seriously some blood curdling viewing. I was astounded that someone so young could do such a cold blooded thing. Did you watch it? What did you think?

I am steaming my way through Greys Anatomy and Nashville. Both very good at the moment!

Heard

I am really enjoying Sia at the moment and have been listening to her quite a lot this week. I shared Cheap Thrills a few weeks ago and I am s till enjoying it lots.

I am also loving Bastille. Everything about them.. They have been a staple on my spotify this week.

Wore

Curly-Surly hair! I have been curling my hair this week {maybe a little too much} I have always wanted beach wave curls. Since having my hair cut I am in a bit of a rut with it so I decided to give the curling wand a go. The first time I did it Mr B had to finish it off, but gradually as the week has gone on I have managed to get the hang of it. I am really loving the wavy look!

Suncream has also been a staple this week. Its important that I keep up with it, so I have had to set an alarm to remind me to reapply every two hours!

  Made

After my Ferrero Rocher cakes last week, I decided to get my bake on again and make a chocolate cake covered in Ganache. It looked like a complete failure on the plate and I only made it look half decent with raspberries for the picture. I wasn’t an actual fan of the taste as I used dark chocolate and it was a bit bitter for me but surprisingly G and H loved it!IMG_5488‘And lastly..’

Mr B has four days off {I do love the summer shift work!} Today we are birthday present hunting for H. I cannot believe he is going to be five in just a few short weeks! We have a long list of things he would like. I am going to post up a wish list over the next week or so. I just hope we can get hold of some of the bits as we had real trouble at christmas! eeeekkkkk

Have a lovely weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

Love the wavy hair. Nice to try out something a bit different when you have your hair cut. That cake looks gorgeous! Hope you have a great weekend and managed to find all H’s pressies x

Thank you lovely! I need to be careful not to curl it too much, it’s gone a bit frizzy! Haha..

Greys is definitely getting better, it went through a stage of slowing down but since Derek’s death {as upset as I was} it’s really picked up xx

I spotted that book in Asda and almost picked it up… I think I might treat myself next time I see it. It sounds like the type of story I would enjoy! I’ve got The Secret recorded and yet to start watching it… Hope it’s good! #littleloves x

I have to get that book when I’ve finished the ones I’m reading now.
My dad told me about The Secret and revealed the whole plot as it’s apparently based on a true story – talk about spoiler alert. I don’t know whether to bother watching it now (parents eh?! haha)
Loving your waving curls! I must dig my curling wand out again and have a play. xx
