Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

We are officially on our Easter Break!! Its definitely needed as I have two very tired, warn out children. It seems like its been a really long half term but it really hasn’t! I am so excited for the slower paced days and not having to make lunches and iron uniform! I am just hoping we have some lovely weather so we can make the most of it!

I have been loving lots this week, including seeing my garden bloom with lots of lovely gorgeous flowers! Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

I got a new book! Not one you can really read, but its definitely one you can pick up and make you feel a lot happier about yourself. I have wanted Fearne Cottons book for ages and the title says it all. Happy. I have read a few pages and I can see myself really getting a lot out of it.

Line of Duty!! Oh my goodness, if you have not watched it before then you should! Its such a great programme and I was left screaming at the TV. Its definitely going to be a good series! Cannot wait for episode two!

I have been watching lots of Vlogs this week. My favorites at the moment are Katie {mummydaddyme} Charlotte {write like no-ones watching} The Meldrums and Lucy {Dear Beautiful}

Lucy vlog about her house move was so lovely and I loved it when she shared her elation about finally getting those keys!

I watched G get up in assembly and receive her swimming ribbon. This term she has been having lesson both at school and privately. I take her weekly to an outside swim school, but her school year were given the opportunity to take lessons at school. It has really paid off, she has come on so well and I could not be prouder.

I am currently typing this in the Kitchen, listening to my oven fan crank round. I swear its on its last legs and one of these days I am going to have an oven that no longer works! Its so loud I can hardly hear myself think!

I also heard my mums husband say some rather lovely things to me. I am quite vocal about struggling as a parent and how I find it hard sometimes. I am also quite vocal about how I feel like a failure when it comes to parenting {only sometimes!} We had a discussion the other day and I ended up getting in his car to guide him back to mine and he went back to the conversation we had over lunch and said some really lovely things to me {not just about me}. I had to tell him to stop as I would of ended up shedding a tear. I am so glad he has become part of the family, he makes my mum happy, which is just the best. A happy mum means a happy daughter!

This week has been so lovely. The sun has shone everyday apart from wednesday, which saw me dig out my coat and boots {again!} Every other day, I have had my sandals on. Its been a long time coming and I keep saying it, but its so lovely to have a little warmth on your skin {not too much though!}

Nothing in particular thats worth shouting about. I have bought some ingredient to make some easter bits. I have seen lots on Pinterest that I want to give a try. My Easter Bark which I made last year will make a comeback with a twist! I am sure G and H will want to help me make that!

And lastly..

As most of you know, we have been busy decorating for what seems like FOREVER! This week we finally got paint on the wall and my gorgeous Orla Kiely wallpaper went up! I could not be happier with it and its definitely worth paying that bit extra for quality. It looks amazing! Mr B has the wonderful job of radiators this weekend and hopefully he can make a start on laying the floor!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend

    It sounds like you’ve had a great week and nice close to the month of March.

    The school holidays confuse me sometimes, when different areas have the holidays at different times – ours break up the end of next week. I hope you have a lot of fun with your children during the holidays. I’m quite looking forward to 2 weeks with my mischief maker!

    The sunshine has been lovely, although it sounds like you’ve had a lot more of it than we have – lucky!! I’m also intrigued by the Happy book; I’ll have to look into that one. It sounds like it could be a good one to pick up every now and again. Also, love the wallpaper!!

    I hope you have a wonderful weekend and a great start to the month of April.

      He really is a lovely man. The book is definitely a go to book when your not feeling 100%

    That wallpaper ♥♥♥♥♥! You lucky thing being off for Easter already, we’re not off til the 10th 🙁 I actually thought it was the next 2 weeks they were off so I almost cried when I realised I’d have to continue setting my alarm for horrendous o’clock every morning for another week.

    Your mum’s hubby sounds lovely. My stepdad has surprised me with his kindness and the things he’s said to me before.

    I saw some flamingo dresses the other day – automatically makes me think of you. Have a look at Elsiesattic1 on facebook 😉

    Have a great week x

    Having seen that book via blogs I read I was tempted to pick it up too. Lovely to read that you have been treated to lovely words about you and I’m with you on the warm factor. I don’t like it scorching hot either. #LittleLoves

    Oh I LOVE your new wallpaper so much. I’m not usually a wallpaper fan but I’d definitely make that print an exception.
    Line of Duty is epic isn’t it? I’m so pleased it’s on BBC 1 now and getting the audience it deserves. xx
