Garden Time, Smudged Nails, DIY Sand Pits… Little Loves 24/52

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

I have had such a busy week. I have been struggling with a very angry 6 year old and am finding parenting really hard at the moment {I may post about it in the coming weeks} But I have been loving lots, so without further ado…

I did read a really lovely post by Sian over at Potty Mouthed Mummy.. It was an honest and truthful post about how she was feeling about where she fit in, in the blogging world. It struck a cord with me and its how I feel quite a lot of the time! If you didn’t catch it, you can read it here

I started watching The Syndicate {BBC} I have watched the previous 2 series and thought they were great. I have to admit though, I am not overly into this one. I like the idea of finding out the background information of the cast and what they do with the win, but this series has gone down a “who done it” I have my suspicions already so time will tell.. Thats if I continue with it!

I have heard this lots this week. Its quite catchy and one I always turn up in the car..

I think I may of had this a few weeks ago, but its still being played a lot and Moo absolutely loves it.

Loads more sun cream! Its been so hot here and I have been loving it. I have spent so much time in the garden and to think that this time last year we were still living at our flat. In just shy of two months we would of been here a year! Time really does fly!

I also painted my nails, i hate painting them and 3 hours later I managed to chip and smudge them! Don’t ask me how.. I wish nail varnish would dry instantly!

I can’t take any credit for this, but my very clever husband made a sand pit underneath the climbing frame we bought last year. The kids have been out in it every day and are loving it!

‘And lastly..’

Bit of a cheeky plug, but would love you to pop over and like my Facebook page! I have been using it a lot more in recent weeks!

Thanks for the mention lovely and for your comment this week, it meant so much.

So nails – you need Essie quick dry drops. They are magic. I am a smudger too as I fidget and do stuff too quickly. Dries them super quickly. Get some!!!

Facebook page liked! I have actually really enjoyed using mine more the last couple of weeks. Have a lovely weekend xxx

I love your sand pit (I read somewhere if you put cinnamon in it it will keep the little bugs out so it lasts longer, in case that is any use to you, ours always got full of midges). It’s great to be able to get the suncream out. I don’t think I used it at all last year!
Just liked your fb page. Have a great weekend x

Will definitely check out the book, finding Moo really hard at the moment! Not the fun parts of parenting for sure!

I love your sand pit, what a great area for the kids to play in, right in your back garden. I got the suncream out to this week – the smell of it always reminds me of our honeymoon in Mexico in 2013, then I get desperate to go on holiday!
I just purchased a DIY Gel Nail kit (got all of the bits from eBay). I did my sisters nails today and they looked great, just like they do fresh from the salon. Mega chuffed with them, they last longer too.

    Have a great weekend xx

Love that sandpit, in a nice shady spot so the sand won’t dry out/get soaked! Hooray for sun cream, a real smell of summer. Hope you’re having a fun weekend 🙂 xx

I know what you mean about this series of The Syndicate, it’s not hooked me in as much but like you I’m intrigued by the who dunnit.
I’m off to read Sian’s post now, thanks for the recommendation xx

You gotta love Roald Dahl, haven’t you? I adored his books as a kid and had every one, I remember my mum and dad buying me Matilda as soon as it came out, a big hard back version. I’m really liking The Syndicate, it’s a bit different to the others and I’m enjoying seeing the characters background stories.
Love your sandpit, it’s fab xxx
