Its F R I Y A Y!!! I couldn’t be more thrilled that this week is over with! Its been pretty fully on and I have literally had a 5 day break from illness and G has yet again come down with some large…. AGAIN!! Its been constant for 6 weeks and I am done with sickness and bugs!  Without too much waffling about illness here is what I have been loving this week…

Last week I tried to re-start The Trouble With Sheep and Goats, I really have tried but at the moment I just can’t get into it. Im not sure why but I just don’t feel enthusiastic to read it. I am going to lend it to my sister and then try again once she has finished.

I had a little wander around Waterstones and nothing jumped out on me, any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!

I started watching The Disappearance on BBC4 it has now finished so I am watching it on catch up. I didn’t think I would actually like it as its in french and subtitled, its amazing how quickly you adjust to reading them! Its about a girl that goes missing on her 17th birthday, as the police investigate, the girl’s friends and family are revealed as a suspicious set of characters, each with secrets of their own. I am already on episode 4 and only started watching Wednesday night. Definitely recommend it if you like crime/thriller drama!

I am still hooked on Love Island {I am so ashamed to admit it!} I don’t know why I carry on watching it as I sit aghast most evenings {I am such a prude!} Anyone else watching?

I completely forgot about The Great British Sewing Bee, so I had a little catch up this week too! Gutted about this weeks episode as I really like the lady who got sent home {no spoilers here} I am rooting for Jade to win!

Two songs I heard this week, London Grammar {which I may of shared before on Little Loves} and Muse. Both very good songs and I love Muse’s cover of Nina Simone’s Feeling Good, the video is WIERD though!

Flip Flops, boots, sandals, converse. The weather has been so changeable this week my shoe collection has definitely come out to play! I nearly got the welly boots out but I think that would of been taking it little bit too far!

I am struggling this week as to what I have made. Nothing out of the ordinary to be honest. H made a fathers day card at school which was really sweet, does that count!?

This weekend we are making an effort to tackle the homework – oh the joys!

‘And lastly..’

Today I have a big appointment at the hospital. I work myself up pretty badly when it comes to these appointments. Its a three monthly check up of 1. my scar and 2. my moles. I am pretty good at checking them myself now and I am constantly on “mole watch” but I still worry about new ones that appear and what the doctors will say about them. I saw this quote and it totally sums my worries up.. {if only I could!}

Have a lovely weekend!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

      Thank you Claire, it didn’t go as well as I thought it was going to unfortunately! This weeks sewing bee was a good one! xx

    I haven’t quite had to get the boots out yet! But yes, sandals and converse are interchangeable between morning and afternoon at the moment! Love Muse’s Feeling Good – we almost chose this version for our first dance at our wedding! x
