Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and that’s a Little Love round-up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

Its been a bitterly cold week this week. So cold in fact we have had a few days of snow! Nothing really to shout about but it was nice all the same.

Without too much waffling, here are the little things I have been loving.I am about 40 pages from the end of my book I spoke about last week. Its really very good, and I have enjoyed dipping into it on the school run and at bedtime. I would highly recommend anyone to have a read. Its called Then She Was Gone. I am actually enjoying it so much I don’t want it to end!

H bought home a certificate this week. Praising his writing skills at school. When I was reading the comments, I was literally blown away as he has come on so well since the start of year 2. I have always been a bit worried about H’s writing and I do that thing where you compare children. Its terrible but I can’t help but think where G was at this stage. I know they are two completely different children, but I think its only natural as a parent to compare. I am so proud of how far he has come though. H was so pleased he received the certificate too!

I found a new YouTube channel which I am really enjoying. Its a popular one, but I only managed to find it this week! I’ve been watching back log of videos {primary hauls! – who doesn’t love a Primark haul!} and really enjoying them. This was the video that caught my eye, its such a wonderful video and a little celebration too. If you have not heard of Kate Murnane, then you should head over to YouTube and check her out!

How beautiful is this version of True Colours? I adore the original, but this popped up on my Spotify and I have not stopped listening to it. I’m a bit of a Tom Odell Fan..

This week I received an amazing package from Your Good Skin. I have a terrible skin care routine and at the start of 2018 I swore to myself that I was going to take better care and spend time on my skin. I am taking the 28 Day Skincare challenge and I am so excited to see the results. Already a week in I have noticed a change.

We took a trip to the beach at the weekend. So it was definitely welly weather. We took Fleur and we all had such a wonderful time. It was so cold, but sometimes the coast seems so much nicer in the winter.

Nothing to really shout about this week. I have made an effort to get out a walk the dog daily! Does that count?   Even though its been bitterly cold, its been so fresh. The sun has shone most days, which means blue sky1

As of 3.15pm its officially half term! Yipee. I am so ready for a week of no school runs and having a week off with slower paced days. At the moment we have no plans to do anything, but I am sure we will head out at some point!

What ever your up too, i hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Yay for the half term, as a teacher (and mummy) I’m so ready for it. Love those pink wellies, I’ve always wanted a pair of Hunter boots. A trip to the seaside is something I need to do soon, blow some cobwebs away! Enjoy your week xx

Yay for half term! Loving your Hunter wellies, they’re gorgeous! We braved the beach at the weekend too – pretty much got blown from one end to the other but was lovely to get out there and blow away the cobwebs – quite literally. I love that song, reminds me of Save the Last Dance – I used to have the soundtrack in my car. What a lovely version of the song though. Have a fab weekend lovely x

Yep, my skin routine is terrible and I am always getting outbreaks, so I am hoping that if I look after it, it will start to behave itself 🙂

Oooooo that book keeps showing up on Amazon and I was so tempted to read it. I’ve just finished ‘Close to Home’ which was about a little girl who went missing and didn’t know if that one was a little too similar to jump straight into?
Your photos are beautiful and I LOVE your nails xx
