BODY IMAGE, DEEP WATER, THE GREATEST | LITTLE LOVE 47/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. This week has been pretty horrendous. I became ill last weekend and it ended with me calling 111 on Sunday evening. I have to admit I felt awful. I ended up getting an emergency appointment at my doctors Monday morning and prescribed a strong dose of antibiotics. I only started to feel better on Wednesday! Luckily I was well enough for parents evening yesterday and I was blown away with how well G and H are doing. It always gets me a little teary to hear good things about them.

I have been loving lots of things this week though, so without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Read

This week I read a post which really resonated with me. Katie over at mummydaddyme put up a post about body image and as a mum its always something I worry about. Since growing two beautiful children my body has changed massively and its a bit of a love hate relationship sometimes with al those wobbly bits. Katie’s post really hit a nerve with me {in a good way} and her daughters reply to “what does beautiful mean” is quite frankly the best answer that can be given. If you have not read the post then do pop over and have a snoop.

Watched

Im A Celebrity! I love this programme. I am a night behind though as Mr B has been working late and I wait for him. It looking to be a good series.

I download a programme from iPlayer this week. It was on BBC4 and is called Deep Water, its based on true events. Its stars Morello from Orange Is The New Black and one episode in I am hooked..

deepwater_facebook_og_01a

Detectives Tori Lustigman (Yael Stone) and Nick Manning (Noah Taylor) are assigned a brutal murder case in Bondi, where they begin to uncover mounting evidence to suggest the killing is connected to a spate of unexplained deaths, “suicides” and disappearances throughout the 1980s and 1990s. Haunted by the disappearance of her teenage brother, Tori’s fascination with the case soon turns to fixation. When more ritualistic murders occur with the same bizarre signature, Tori and Nick put their relationships, their careers and lives on the line to finally reveal the truth.

Heard

I cannot continue without mentioning the glowing reports I had from G and H school. I aways worry how both G and H are when they are at school and how well they are doing, but I really don’t need to worry as both teachers had such lovely things to say!

This week I have been listening to Sia {again} I love her new song The Greatest and when I am in the car I turn it up and sing along, G and H are thoroughly bored of it now!

Wore

Other than my PJ’s most days, not much to shout about. I have literally got back from school and changed into them most days. Being ill is not nice and its even worse when you have 2 little people to look after!

Made

Arrggggghhhhhh I have struggled the past few weeks with this! I made a detour the other day to McDonalds to pick up some hash browns, does that count? I think it does!

And lastly..

Today see’s us going to order our carpets for the 3 bedrooms! I am so excited! It feels like this day has taken so long to arrive. We {or should I say Mr B} finally finished the loosing yesterday so as he is off we decided to go whilst G and H are at school. We may even order our new King Size bed too!

Oh I’m so sorry you’ve been that poorly. Fingers crossed for a speedy recovery and a lot of relaxation next week. I’m also a massive Sia fan and I think my boy is just as fed up with me belting out her tracks in the car! And…as hash browns are definitely the best thing in the world you can totally count that one 😉 #LittleLoves

Hope you feel much better now, it sounds awful. Oh, and I love that Sia song too. xx
