BLOSSOM, BLUE SKIES, BROADCHURCH | LITTLE LOVE 11/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

What a week! It has flown by. I have been so busy I am slightly overwhelmed at how quickly this week has passed. Its not helping that I am typing this post up extra early as I am busy Thursday evening and I am not sure when I would of fitted it in!

This week has been quite glorious, two days we have had weather that has peaked to 18° and its been so so lovely to have the warmth on my face. Most importantly its been wonderful not to have to wear a coat! Also how amazing it is to see blossom on the trees?

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Read

I’ve not picked up my book this week. I have been making a conscious effort to read  G and H’s school books every night. Its so lovely listening to them both and I still find it rather amazing at how well they can read. G is amazing and reads with so much expression. H on the other hand is very good, but just needs that little bit of confidence to  read.

Watched

This week I have watched Broadchurch, The Walking Dead, The Replacement, Homeland and Towie. I really want talk about two programmes that have totally blown me away this week.

Broadchurch. I honestly thought it was the finale this week. I’ve no idea why I thought it. I only found out at the end of the episode that it actually wasn’t and we still had more to come {thankfully!!} There I was, literally screaming at the computer screen as I thought what a rubbish ending! So glad we still have another few episodes to go!

The Replacement, who watched it? It was the BBC’s psychological drama and boy was it good. I was hooked from episode one and thoroughly enjoyed the 3 parter. Vicky McClure is my new favourite actress! She is so bloody talented. She really made the programme {as did Morven Christie} What did you think?

I also watched Sky Atlanctic’s new programme Big Little lies starring Reece Witherspoon, Nicole Kidman and Shailene Woodley. I really enjoyed the first episode and looking forward to episode two.

Heard

Smooth Radio. I come home from the school run of an evening and stick the radio on. I literally spend my evening in the kitchen, prepping lunches, cooking dinner and reading with G and H. Its nice to have some background music on whilst I am getting on with daily chores.

Wore

My Solillas are out and are not going back in my wardrobe till next winter. It has been so so nice not to have to wear socks. I am loving the warmer weather on my feet.

Made

Not much to shout about here..

And lastly..

I am meeting up with an old school friend today. Its been ages since we got together so it will be nice to have a good catch up.

We have a busy weekend of homework! G is making a board game with the help of Mr B and I will be helping H with his diary of looking after a pet. He has already completed a fact file on his favourite animal.

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend

We used to watch Broadchurch all the time and then stopped. We must pick it back up again. Sounds ace. Can’t beat the blue skies. We sadly had one amazing warm sunny day and then it’s been days of dark rain since. It was such a tease. Hope you are having a great weekend. #littleloves

Think I’m the only person who’s never watched Broadchurch. Didn’t watch The Replacement either, but may watch it on catch up as it sounds brilliant. Loving Big Little Lies – at least that’s one I have watched! That homework sounds really nice, beats me trying and failing to help the moody teen with her science stuff! Hope you had a lovely time with your friend x
