Blogging Breaks, Pasta Bakes, Winter Weather.. Little Loves 13/52

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

I have not blogged in a whole week! Terrible really.. Ive not been feeling 100% and I just needed a little time out.. But I couldn’t miss Little Loves and hopefully its the push I need to get back into it!

this is what I have been loving this week!

Ive been reading Moo’s school books with her, well actually Moo has been reading them to me! She has improved so much and I find it really strange when she will just read a road sign, or a shop name! It still throws me!

I am so late to this, but I started watching Our Girl which was aired on BBC like ages ago.. When it was on, it was pretty much something I switched off, but my sister was talking about it this week, so I thought I would give it a go. I am pretty glad I did, its brilliant and Lacey Turner is an amazing actress.. If you have not watched it then I suggest you do..

The Walking Dead finishes this week and I am on tenterhooks! Its been such a good series and I so want them to whip the camps arses and take over!

I was NOT a fan of this song when it was released, but having to listen to the radio on the way to school it gets played a lot, its kind of grown on me..

Another song that has been playing a lot on the school run is this one, and when the kids are not in the car I tend to turn it up to double digits..

I was back in my Uggs this week, the weather has taken a nasty turn and its like winter all over again! I really wish it would make its mind up! We have been having some really lovely spring like days and then, boom, its back to winter like days.. So depressing!

This week I made a lovely lemon tart, from scratch! I had hep but I was pretty impressed with it! It came out really well and went down a treat when the in-laws came for dinner..

I also made a pasta bake.. I am really struggling with dinners for the kids. They eat the same rubbish all the time, so I thought I would give the plain spaghetti bolognese a twist.. It went down really well with Moo but H wouldn’t touch it! Me and the hubby had it once the children were asleep and it was rather delicious, I don’t know why I have not thought of making one before! So simple!!

‘And lastly..’

Its the easter holidays!! Yippee.. I have loads planned and I am so looking forward to the two weeks off.. Its been a short term but feels like its gone on for forever..

Also, Monday is an exciting day, its upgrade day for me, what is it about new phones? I am so excited and cannot wait to get my shiny new phone!

Whatever you do I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

The Walking Dead is so tense right now isn’t it? Anything could happen – I cannot wait until Monday! I made a pasta bake the other day and like you I wondered why I don’t make them very often. I’m definitely adding it to the rota of meals that I do! Have a lovely weekend. xx

Oooh so many things to love here! I LOVED Our girl.. I can’t wait for Season 2!
The 4,5 seconds song also grew on me, although I hate the screechy bits in the background. “We can ruunn…” it actually makes me cringe!! haha!
I just got an iPhone upgrade and I’m totally in love with it – enjoy yours!
    Have a lovely Easter hols,
    Kerry x

I loved Our Girl, such a great series and she is such a brilliant actress! I’m just as bad with a new phone, unfortunately thanks to my little one having a terrible track record with my phones I get new ones more often than I should! Have a great Easter break!

Spring is definitely taking it’s time to arrive. Even on the sunny days it’s still been freezing. I’m so desperate for some sun! x

Good idea, I’m going to try the kids on a pasta bake, just like you I sometimes struggle with what to give them. When I first heard 4,5 seconds I kept turning it down at the screechy weird bit because I thought it was my car making funny noises! I love a new phone, enjoy playing with it.
