Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

I actually cannot believe its Friday! This week I have been so busy catching up on the things I didn’t do the week before! Its flown by and I am looking forward to actually taking stock and looking at all the little things I have loved.

I have made a concious effort to get out and about this week. Taking the dog with me and enjoying the Autumn air. I have loved seeing the red leaves scattered over the floor. Its turned quite mild here. I actually went out without a coat twice this week! I still had to wear cosy jumpers, but it was definitely warmer than average!

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

I’ve not picked my book up for a good few weeks. I went through a stage where I read everyday. I’ve just slacked on the reading front! I have caught up with all my favourite bloggers this past week, so that counts for something!

I watched Boy With A Topknot on BBC TWO this week. Personally it should of been shown on BBC ONE. It was such a compelling watch and I really enjoyed it. Based on the critically acclaimed memoir The Boy with the Topknot by journalist Sathnam Sanghera.

Born to traditional Punjabi parents and growing up in Wolverhampton, Sathnam was the first member of his family to go to university and has gone on to build a very different life for himself in London. Excelling in his career as a columnist for The Times, and living with his lovely English girlfriend Laura, he keeps this life very separate to the one he has in Wolverhampton. He cannot bring himself to tell his family he is going to be the first one to marry out of the tightly knit Sikh community he was brought up in.

I wold highly recommend you watch it. Was such a good drama.

I have listened to quite a bit this week. 3 artists have been pretty much on repeat. Firstly Sia and secondly Taylor Swift and thirdly Elbow. Firstly I know its not christmas, but I am loving Sia’s new song. Its from he Christmas Album and I can’t wait to hear the rest. I am a big fan of Sia, she has not disappointed!

Next Taylor Swift. She nails it every time. I mean the girl can not get anything wrong. Her album is supposed to be fantastic. G has it on her Christmas list, so I will look forward to sticking that on, in the car! I adore “New Years Day”

and lastly, who doesn’t love the cover of The Beatles Golden Slumbers? I love it and if fits the John Lewis Christmas advert perfectly!

My hair was in desperate need of a little TLC this week. I honestly couldn’t believe how many grey hairs I counted! Shocking.. I had some hair dye in the cupboard and decided after dropping G and H off at school I needed to take charge and banish those grey! I went for a more purple tone than red and although it has come out rather dark, I have been loving the new look. Ive been complimented loads this week, which is always lovely.

I made a “welcome home” cake for my mum and her husband. They went off on a cruise for 2 weeks and arrived back on Monday. I was supposed to pick them up but they were delayed getting back into port so they ended up having to get a cab back to mine to collect the car. They stayed for dinner which was lovely as I missed them both loads! Its strange as I only see them every other week {sometimes in between too} but I didn’t like the fact we couldn’t talk daily or when I wanted a chat. They are home now and I think I have phoned my mum practically every day since being back!

This week I have managed to get out and walk the dog, it was nice to go and clear my head of things that have been whirring round my brain. Its been a tough few weeks and I feel so overwhelmed with it all still. I’m on the mend and am in less pain than I was which is a good sign. I am so over it all now and cannot wait to have a worry free few months. Yesterday I  posted this photo on Instagram, I made a comment about wishing I had as much energy as Fleur! She is always on the go!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!

Fab action shot of Fleur! You always remind me of tv shows I meant to watch and never got around to, Boy with a Topknot sounds so good. Love your hair! I’m about to stick a bottle of blonde on mine after going dark when I got back here. The moody teen keeps taking the mick and saying she sees tons of greys in my hair all the time so I’m hoping the blonde will hide it better, if there are any greys of course as I haven’t seen any yet! Have a good week x
