THE ACCUSED, SAM PALLADIO, NEW BOOTS | LITTLE LOVE 6/52

Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. Its officailly half term here!! Well from 3pm today! I really need the slower paced days at the moment. Its been a hard week of recovery and I wont lie, I have struggled a little with this op.

I have been loving lots of things this week though, so without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Read

I am so close to finishing my book and its really picked up. Its finally getting to the nitty gritty and things are starting to come together. Cannot wait to find out “who done it”

Watched

Lots! Oh My.. Firstly The Accused on Channel Five, did anyone else watch this? I forgot it was on so caught up with it on Tuesday after lots of chatter on Facebook. I started the programme of thinking the mother couldn’t have anything to do with it, but I honestly think she was in denial about everything that had happened. She was v very hard to read! What did you think?

I also watched Moorside, the BBC drama about Shannon Matthews. It was quite an insight if I am honest. I know its dramatised, people are always going to have opinions on things like this but I really enjoyed it and Sheridan Smith can do know wrong.

Homeland is back {C4} and again like Sherlock I am in two minds about it. Where this season is going I am not sure, I am worried they are just prolonging the end of the series. I hate messed up Quinn.

I also started Apple Tree Yard. Something I wasn’t expecting to be as good as it is! My mum and her partner said I would really enjoy it and they were so right! For some reason I thought it was set in the 70’s and about something completely different! Not watched the last episode yet so going to catch up with that today!

Lastly we have finally started to watch Sherlock. We have had it on our planner since christmas and now we are up to date with all our other programmes we dived right in. I am in two minds. The first episode was just weird. I really did not know where it was going and I got confused, but half way through it did pick up. Hoping the rest of the season doesn’t disappoint.

Heard

For Christmas G got a CD player and she has had Little mix on repeat. I find myself sporadically singing their new song Touch throughout the day.

I also caught Nashville star Sam Palladio on the end of The One Show the other day and I didn’t realise he was featuring on her new single. To be honest I wasn’t impressed with the live version, in fact I was rather disappointed but quickly got onto youtube and listened to the video version and I actually really like it.

Wore

New boots. Love these black chelsea boots. Maybe I should of worn my Uggs this week as the weather has dropped in temperatures dramatically but these have not left my feet.

I also purchased a unity band for world cancer day, but as I said on social media this week, its not just one day out of 365 we should unite…

Made

Not much… Lets skip this bit..

And lastly..

Its half term! {as of 3pm} Yippeeee and I have a few things planned but mostly I am so looking forward to the slower paced days. The lazy mornings and a few pj days!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

I really want to watch Sherlock! It’s been on my must watch list for too long now. Might have to squeeze in a cheeky episode tonight. I went to college with Sam Palladio in Cornwall. He dated one of my friends for a few years. How things change in such a short space of time! Amazing seeing him doing so well. I love Next for boots, they’re so comfy. Happy half term! #LittleLoves

Oh Apple Tree Yard was really good, I’m glad you gave it a watch. I read the book at few years ago but couldn’t really remember the plot so I still enjoyed it.
I love Sam Palladio’s voice so I’ll have to give that song a listen xx
