Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

I have slowly managed to get back into a routine this week. Its been a quick week and I can’t believe its Thursday and I am getting ready to look back at the little bits i have loved this week! G turned nine and we had a really lovely few days celebrating. We had family over on Sunday and we went out for dinner on Monday and it was lovey. G looked so grown up and I still can’t quite believe I have a nine year old!!

Without too much waffling here is this weeks #LittleLove

Not much.. Been slacking this week! Apologies! Will try harder next week…

I have watched lots this week. Firstly as I said earlier G turned nine! I watched her open her presents with such excitement! This year all she wanted was a FitBit {from us} so I was so pleased when the she opened it up. She really didn’t expect it and it was lovely to see her face. I don’t think she expected it to be honest as we kept saying how expensive they were.

I have managed to catch up all all TV. I started to watch Motehrland on BBC. Everyone seems to be going on about it at shcool, Twitter and Facebook. I gave in and downloaded them and have managed to get through half the series. Its hilarious and definitely a must watch! The whole series is on iPlayer.

Another recommendation this week was the Louis Theroux Talking To Anorexia, again on the BBC and it was a really good watch. Its so sad that young people {and old} do it and it was such a insight into what they go through. Its like a compulsive disorder. Its not all about sticking your fingers down your throat either. It goes a lot deeper mentally and it was a really good insight to what sufferers with Anorexia go through. Definitely catch it if you have not already.

I am still listening to Sam Smith most days. The album is so good!

I went shopping this week and I am building up my collection of scarfs. I like to wear them a lot nowadays as it covers up my scar on my neck and saves the questions. They had a pop-up shop for the British Legion. I noticed a few weeks ago they had a beautiful poppy scarf and made a mental note that I should add it to my growing collection. I managed to pick it up this week and I am loving it. Its so long and covers my neck, which is perfect!

I made G’s birthday cake this week. She asked for a Victoria Sponge, Buttercream and lots of sprinkles. I thought it would be a bit plain, so I made a nine out of chocolate sprinkles and bought some pretty unicorn icing decorations to go round the side of the cake. I also added a few Shopkins to the top. A bit of a mismatched but she loved it non the less AND it tasted delicious! Big hit!

We have no plans this weekend. I am looking froward to relaxing if I am honest. This week has taken it out of me and I am looking forward to having some sort of lie in and enjoying the slower paced days!

What ever your up to, have a wonderful weekend!

Loving that poppy scarf! Glad G had a great birthday, that cake looks amazing! I’m having to attempt a Star Wars cake for the little one this year as I can’t see any in the shops. Fingers crossed they’ll start doing some to coincide with the release of the new film as making a cake is so not what you want to be doing on Christmas Day! I’ve not heard of Motherland. Sounds like a good one to watch. Hope you’re having a good weekend x

Binged Motherland on Thursday night and Friday when I wasn’t feeling well and ended up in bed crazy early. Loved it and Julia is definitely my spirit animal!
It sounds like G had the best birthday, she looks so happy in that pic with her birthday cake. Can you believe how fast time is going?! xx

Ah happy birthday to your little lady – she looks chuffed with her cake! I watched the Louis Theroux programme and agree it is so interesting to watch and understand that some people suffer all their lives. My daughter suffered from an eating disorder about 3 years ago and I’m just glad she managed to kick it before it took a lifelong hold on her. Love your poppies scarf.
