Its F R I Y A Y which only means one thing and thats a LittleLove round up with Coffee Work Sleep Repeat.

Its been a rather lovely week this week. We had a slow start and then yesterday we were back into the routine. G and H unwillingly returned to school. Both really didn’t want to go back, and to be really honest, I didnt want them to go either. I have fully embraced the slow paced days we have had of late and now we are back into full on school mode. Thank-fully we are eased in gently this week by starting so late, so tonight when we get home, after swimming we are all go to flop on the sofa and enjoy the weekend ahead of us.

Right, I am determined to read more in 2018! BUT {there is always a but!} This week I didn’t get round to picking up a book! I have read some wonderful blog posts this week though! I have been really enjoying these posts Happy New Year at Amble and Ash {formally Life at Littlewood} Rory’s First Snow at Sorry About The Mess and New Year, Same Me at Coffee Work Sleep Repeat. You should definitely of and give these a read if you haven’t already.

First, Can I just talk about Suits? I have literally been binge watching it all week. I’m slowly loving it more and more. Anyone else watched it? I know I am late to the party with this one! I always seem to pick up on seasons years after they first aired!

Over Christmas we decided to trial NOW TV. We decided to just get the movie package so I made the most of what it had to offer and sat down and watched a few films whilst G and H watched their pads. First was The Shallows. American survival horror film, I personally wouldn’t say it was a horror. Its basically an updated version of Jaws. A good watch though. Secondly I watched Save The Last Dance, bit cheesy, but took me back to my childhood!

TV wise, I have watched a fair bit. We are catching up on the first half of The Walking Dead {FOX}. We taped them all and decided to watch a few a night, rather than wait a week. Its a bit of a strange season if I am honest! I already know what happened in the mid-season finale as it was all over social media. 24 Hours in A and E {C4} is back and I was actually really chocked by the opening episode. Something about this programme gets me every time.

This has to be the most annoying song of 2017. I hated it so much, but now its played so often, I tend to sing it even when I have not heard it. G really isn’t a fan, and kindly tells me to button it, when I burst into song. She also makes me turn it over if it comes on in the car! She is such a dramatic!

To be honest with you, we have all been in relaxing clothes this week. We may have had far too many pyjama days. Which I may off secretly enjoyed!

I also wore my new jumper I received from my mum and her husband. I’m totally in love with it and its perfect for the flamingo lover in me. I teamed it with black jeans and my trusted Chelsea boots.

After all the rubbish we have eaten over Christmas, I am pleased to be making home cooked food again. Something I very rarely make is a good hearty roast dinner. By the time I have dished up, I know longer fancy it. It didn’t stop anyone else enjoying it though. Its H’s favourite dinner and one I know he will eat without fuss. G on the other hand, struggles with certain bits. She managed to eat her way through it though and gave complements to the chef! I have also made a lasagne, homemade burgers and a chicken curry this week. No pictures, because once its on the plate its doesn’t hand around for long!

I am really trying to push my Instagram and Twitter this year. I would love to meet my target I have set myself. If you are not following me, I would love it if you came and joined me on my journey. I am also using stories more on Instagram and I am really enjoying it. I’ve got to admit, I kept blogging under the radar on Instagram, as I had quite a few school mum friends on there, but I “came out” as a blogger this week and I feel so relieved. For some reason I was treating it as a dark secret, but really it should be something I am proud of, which I am!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

That jumper is gorgeous! I’ve heard a lot of good things about suits but haven’t watched it myself. I’ve gone back to home cooked meals this week too, my body was definitely craving them.

Happy new year ! I hadn’t read in such a long time so back in November I committed to reading one chapter a day and it’s worked, I’m back in the swing of daily reading again. I love watching 24 hours in A&E it’s a tense watch sometimes but worth it. That jumper is lovely, I bought some pants last summer in flamingo print. Have a lovely relaxed weekend x #LittleLoves

There is so much on Now TV and its so much cheaper than a Sky subscription for movies!

We lost interest with The Walking Dead, it was such a strange few episodes – we just haven’t finished it. I really need to get up to date with TV series – I hardly watch TV. Hope you manage to get reading soon. Enjoy your weekend!

I agree, this season of the Walking Dead has been a hard watch! Its not up to the previous season standards, which is rather disappointing.

I love a good roast dinner – when someone else is cooking! I totally get what you mean about not fancying it once you’ve made it though.
Off to find you on instagram to help you towards your target.
