I have decided to do a little mini-series on the blog, I am going to be calling it For The Love Of..  Its basically a round-up of the things I am loving. I am going to have 4 categories, TV, Blogs, Vlogs and Instagram and each week I will be posting my three favourites under different categories.. This week I am blogging about my love of TV and what I have been watching this past month, so here is my top three TV programmes!

If you have not watched this series then I highly recommend it. I am literally telling everyone about it at the school and asking where they have been hiding if they have not tuned in. The first 2 seasons are on Netflix and the latest {season 4} is currently on BBC. The series is a drama about the investigations of AC-12, a controversial police anticorruption unit. Its definitely a must watch. It has you gripped from the moment it starts till the moment it ends, normally finishing on a cliff hanger which has you hanging for a whole week!

Another police drama is Broadchurch and this is the final season. You don’t need to watch the previous seasons to be aware of what is going on as this is a stand alone case. I would recommend watching all 3 seasons, as they are brilliantly written and superbly acted. With the likes of David Tenant and Olivia Coleman as the main cast {and a few other household names to boot} this programme was always going to be a huge hit. The first season focused on the death of an 11-year-old boy. The impact of grief, mutual suspicion, and media attention on the town. The second, primarily focuses on two plot strands: the trial of the murderer and the reopening of the Sandbrook case, which was brushed upon in Season one. The third and final season follows Miller {Coleman} and Hardy {Tenant}  as they investigate a serious sexual assault.

I was so late to this programme. Mr B watched it from the moment it landed on TV. I on the other hand refused to watch it. It was not my thing, zombies, blood, guts and more zombies! No thank you! By the time season three came round I decided to give it a go. I binged watched them to catch up with the TV airing and I am now well and truly hooked. I love everything about this programme, even the blood, guts and zombies! Tuesday nights are Walking Dead nights in our house. Season 7 has just finished and I am at a loss because it wont be back till October! {Thats a long ole way!}

If you have not given it a chance then I promise you, you will be hooked from the start. Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman. This gritty drama portrays life in the weeks and months following a zombie apocalypse. Led by police officer Rick Grimes, his family and a group of other survivors find themselves constantly on the move in search of a safe and secure home. The pressure each day to stay alive sends many in the group to the deepest depths of human cruelty. Finally Rick discovers that the overwhelming fear of the survivors can be more deadly than the zombies walking among them.

So there you have it my first: For The Love Of, TV. What have you been watching this month?
