I am back this week with my mini-series For The Love Of. This week I am blogging about my love of TV and what I have been watching this past month. We are heading into autumn {as far as TV is concerned} and there is so much coming up which I cannot wait to start but before all that here are my top three TV programmes this month.

If you have not watched Ray, then your missing out on a treat. Season 5 is back and we are yet to start it. But I couldn’t not mention it this month. Basically this is a good binge worthy show. Mr B and I agreed we would build up the season on our planner. They finish on some remarkable cliff hangers and waiting a week is just not fair!

So whats it about? If you have not seen it then, Ray Donovan is a “fixer” for Hollywood’s elite. He is the go-to guy that the city’s celebrities, athletes and business moguls call to make their problems disappear. It’s a much more lucrative job than his previous work as a ruthless South Boston thug, vaulting him within reach of the truly wealthy and powerful. But no amount of money or the expensive things it can buy can completely mask Ray’s past, a past that continues to haunt him with troubled brothers always calling and his father’s recent release from 20 years spent in prison.

Now a free man, Ray’s father, Mickey, arrives in Los Angeles to get what he feels is rightfully his. Mickey’s desire to reconnect and settle old scores with his family — including Ray’s wife and kids, who have never met the family’s patriarch and are anxious to get to know him — threatens to destroy everything Ray has built for himself.

Sound good? You should definitely try and grab the first 4 seasons and watch them before starting out on season 5. Its so good and its one I highly recommend on watching.

This has been the must see show this month. The new BBC drama starring Jodie Whittaker. I was hooked from episode one and I am gutted its now over with. It was such a good drama and its the BBC at its best. Basically A hardworking nurse who loses her job for whistle-blowing is forced to take drastic measures to provide for her daughter. She steals the identity of a doctor, her best friend, to make a new life in Edinburgh. Its gripping and has you wanting more after each episode. Its a must see.

This is a BBC documentary series taking a detailed look at ambulance services, from the highly pressurised control rooms to the crews on the street. It is basically real life of the ambulance crew and what they do. Its an amazing program and it gives you a real insight in what they have to deal with daily. Its heart wrenching to watch and has some really very upsetting scenes, but I believe showing us this insight, we look at the NHS and the services in a completely different light. They really do deal with a lot and they do not get no where near enough credit. Its definitely one I recommend you tune into watching.

Do you have a favourite TV programme at the moment? Leave a comment below or blog about it and link up below! I am always looking for new Seasons or TV programmes to watch. If you have not watched the above I have blogged about then I would highly recommend you do.
