I have decided to do a little mini-series on the blog, I am going to be calling it For The Love Of..  Its basically a round-up of the things I am loving. I am going to have 4 categories, TV, Blogs, Vlogs and Instagram and each week I will be posting my three favourites under different categories.. This week I am blogging about my love of TV and what I have been watching this past month, so here is my top three TV programmes this month.

I could watch this over and over. Its one of my favourite long running series and I absolutely love it. This medical drama focuses on a group of doctors at a hospital in Seattle. Several began their careers at the facility as interns. One of the doctors and the show’s namesake, Meredith Grey, is the daughter of a famous surgeon. The series has evolved over each seasons and its got better and better. I get so involved with the characters. Its the only programme I actually sob at when they leave, or worse die. I still have not got over the death of McDreamy and McSteamy..

Another great American series is Prison Break. I was so excited when the said they were going to do another one off season 12 years after the first season aired. Michael Scofield is a desperate man. His brother, Lincoln Burrows, was convicted of a crime he didn’t commit and is put on Death Row. Michael holds up a bank to get himself incarcerated alongside his brother in Fox River State Penitentiary. He sets in motion a series of elaborate plans to break Lincoln out and prove his innocence. Once out of jail, their perils aren’t over. The brothers must flee to escape recapture and battle an intricate political conspiracy that puts everyone’s life at risk. Definitely a must watch. The latest season is living up to the suspense and drama of previous!

This is a series that just keeps getting better and better. I always start off at the beginning of each season thinking where can go with this. They always seem to manage to get it right. When Marine Sgt. Nicholas Brody returns home following eight years in captivity. CIA agent Carrie Mathison thinks he has turned and is connected to a terror plot to be carried out on American soil. She engages him in a dangerous game of cat and mouse that puts America’s national security at risk. The series evolve each season and its nail biting stuff. If you have not watched it, you really should. I do tend to take breaks from this series as sometimes its too close to real life situations.

So there you have it my first: For The Love Of, TV. What have you been watching this month?

Love these posts, you could turn it into a linky!

I’m the weirdo who’s never watched any of these tv series, despite them being raved about – it took me about 10 years to watch Gilmore Girls though so it’s not that surprising.

I have to admit, the last few seasons of Homeland have been pretty slow but they have picked up mid-season and have been so good!
