– The Fixer, Back To School, Autumn Dinners… Little Loves 36/52 –

Happy Friday peeps… Another week has passed and its time for another little catch up with all the lovely bloggers that link up with Morgana and their #littleloves

This week has been madness, Moo and H are now at school and it really has been a picture of emotions. Moo entered Year 2 and H started Reception! I still cannot believe we are here and I am talking about his first week!! Its really has zoomed past and we are all looking forward a little rest over the weekend!

Without to much waffling, this is what I have been loving this week…

I had a hospital appointment this week {one of many!} and I bought a magazine on the way in. Luckily I did as the appointment was overdue by 45 minutes! I hate hospitals at the best of time and now I am going to be spending a lot more time at them. I should of taken my book but I forgot it, so I went for a trashy magazine instead!

Shamefully I watched Jeremy Kyle this week {only one episode!} I don’t know what took over me and I know t won’t be happening again anytime soon!

I have a few things on my planner to watch, we are a few weeks behind on Ray Donavan. I also have the new Piers Morgan – Life Stories to watch.

I did watch a new programme on FOX called The Fixer. It grabbed my eye because of McSteamy {Eric Dane} Fellow Greys lovers will know who I am talking about! Here is a quick brief on what it was about, it was actually quite good and the end of the episode was a tad unexpected, its making me look forward to episode 2!

Ellie Molaro is an investigator for the US federal body which determines the causes of major accidents. She becomes suspicious of the “official answers” to an oil rig disaster, spearheads a private investigation with a secret tipster named Carter
Carter claims that a conspiracy of “Fixers” are behind some of the worst global disasters, all rigged to manipulate the stock market, and reap billions for a select few.
Now, their largest operation in decades is an impending, catastrophic event targeting Washington, D.C. and the only way they can succeed is if Ellie and Carter are among the casualties.

Lots of chatter from both Moo and H about what they have been up too this week at school. H has been pretty vocal about what he has done, more vocal than Moo, I can’t get anything out of her!

I am handing this one over to my two gorgeous ones.. They rocked the school uniform this term and H looks utterly adorable {I am biased – sorry!}

Last week felt like autumn {go away indian summer!} I was loving snuggling up with a blanket on the sofa of an evening! I also made my first stew. It was so delicious and I am going to attempt it again this week {once the indian summer has passed of course!}

I also picked up my crochet blanket to will away the time whilst H was at school. I am so very near the finish line. I am now deciding what type of border to do, plain or fancy!

‘And lastly..’

So as I said before I was at the hospital this week, it was just a consult for my operation. They are rushing me through as urgent again, and hopefully I will have a date within 2 weeks. Its been such a worrying few months and although the next 5 years {and beyond} are going to be a huge worry for me I am hoping once the operation is done I can ease up a little.

Thank you again for all your lovely comments last week too, they really do mean a lot.

One last thing, sorry for being a bit of a rubbish Little Love{er} I have not really been commenting much over the last few weeks, but I promise I will try and get back into the norm of things!

I hope you all have a wonderful week ahead!

    I think the school week has taken its toll on Lil G this week, I’m waiting in him waking up now! Thankfully there is no rushing today. I hope you have a restful weekend and try to stay positive about the hospital. X

    Back to school has been a rollercoaster week hasn’t it? I think we will all have a little lie in to recover tomorrow. I’m glad that you will get your op date soon, it’s good to know they are on the ball. My fil had a melonoma on his scalp removed a few years ago and has had several removed since. If it’s any reassurance they will keep a very close eye on you and any changes will be caught very early on. I hope you have a restful weekend x

      Thank you, I have ben told I am under the hospital for 5 years, with checks every 3 months, so thats reassurance in itself. Its good to know that I am being watched closely. xx

    Please don’t watch Jeremy Vile again, it truly is awful! Your two are absolutely adorable, you must be so proud! All the best with your appointment, I hope things all go to plan x

    Aww how cute do your little ones look in their uniforms! I do love a trashy magazine. Ha ha Jeremy Kyle is one thing that never makes it onto my tv – it makes me want to throw the remote at the tv screen! Hope you’re doing ok and get the date through for your op asap x

    • September 11, 2015 / 7:49 pm

      I doubt very much I will be boosting the Jeremy Kyle ratings again anytime soon! Utter trash!

  6. September 12, 2015 / 5:59 am

    Oh gosh, I’m sorry you need another op but it’s fab that they are acting so quickly on it all. I love Life Stories, will have to see if I can find it on catch up and you’ve made me want to read a trashy mag. I haven’t read one for so long! x

    • September 12, 2015 / 6:43 am

      You have to indulge in a trashy mag every now and then 😉

  7. September 12, 2015 / 9:11 am

    how cute do the both look in their uniforms?!
    Hope you all get some rest this weekend xx

    A trashy magazine is a far better distraction than a book…I think it was a good choice! Your two looks SO sweet in their uniforms. I snuggle up with a blanket every single night these days – it is the best! xx

    • September 15, 2015 / 9:21 am

      Thank you, it’s definitely getting colder in the evenings so good excuse to snuggle under a thick blanket x
