Karaoke Carpool, Trinkets, New Looks | Little Love 3/52

Its Friday, and it can only mean one thing.. Little Love time. This is my favourite part of the week, it lets me reflect on all the little things I have loved.

This week I have been really busy. As you can probably tell, I have had a bit of a makeover! It took me so long to do and with a smooth-ish transfer over to a new host I am now fully self hosted. I spent all day Tuesday and Wednesday playing around with themes and I finally found one I liked. I am quite frankly in love with my little space and I am all ready for my blogging journey!

Without to much waffling, this is what I have been loving this week…

Not much to be honest! I listened to G and H reading and I read a whole host of things about going self hosted, but no books! I really need to settle down with a good un.

I did, like everyone else read the tragic news about David Bowie. I was sat aghast and I am still slightly shocked about it all 4 days on!

I watched CBB this week. I am a bit of a sucker for it. Ive not watched much else. I watched a lot of youtube videos trying to get to grips with blog migration, I gave up in the end and got my hosts to do it! Far simpler!

Also, who saw this? I laughed throughout, and maybe joined in with the singing!

I have been listening to David Bowie this week, I am sure I wasn’t the only one. First up Starman {great song!} and then whilst doing the school run yesterday Under Pressure came on the radio and up went the volume..

I bought this necklace last week. It has my initial on it and it was cheap as chips! I also have been wearing in my new boots. I also chipped my nails last week, so I put my other new polish on which is another Barry M, Out Of My Red.. I am loving the Barry M nail varnishes at the moment.

Its turned really cold, so the hats, gloves and scarves had made a permanent fixture on the freezing cold mornings. Regretfully I think winter is finally upon us.

I can’t say I have made anything this week apart from copious amounts of tea! I did decide to give up on my blanket for now. I was having so much trouble with the counting and it continuously going wrong, I made the decision to stop. I have put it to one side and I and going to leave it a few more days before picking it up and starting a new pattern.

As I said earlier, I also made this blog shiny and new! I was so close to giving up. I had an image of how I wanted my blog to look and I have had that image for sometime. I was so disheartened when I couldn’t find the perfect theme but late afternoon Wednesday after spending hours looking I found one. I am so proud that I did it all myself, apart from the migration! I have made this blog to how I want and CSS is hard at the best of times but with some persistence and patience I got there in the end!

‘And lastly..’

Have a lovely week!

Omg I love Carpool Karaoke, it’s so funny! James Cordan cracks me up but Adele was actually really funny too, plus the singing is amazing 🙂 Some great #littleloves there xxx

Going self hosted and giving your blog a make over gives you such a buzz doesn’t it! I’ve changed my theme about a billion times now as I always get bored of it and it takes some work to get it how you want it. I’ve always loved your category buttons in your sidebar so glad you kept them.

I still can’t believe Bowie is gone, he was one of those you thought would live forever. Under Pressure is one I had cranked up this week too. Love that song!

    Have a fab weekend x

I love your new look, it’s gorgeous and well done for doing it all yourself. I had to get Sian to do mine as I’m useless, I keep promising myself I’ll learn more about the technical side but it always ends up at the bottom of my to-do list. I’ve been listening to quite a few David Bowie songs this week too, it’s been lovely to hear them on the radio. I do have an urge to watch Labyrinth again though, going to have to track it down from somewhere.

Labyrinth was my one of my favourite films when I was younger! Definitely a must to dig out..
