Christmas Adverts, Birthday Cakes, Big Decisions | Little Love 45/52

Its Friday, and it can only mean one thing.. Little Love time. This is my favourite part of the week, it lets me reflect on all the little things I have loved.

This week was filled with birthday celebrations for Moo. She was a very lucky girl receiving lots of wonderful gifts. I am now stumped as to what to get her for christmas!

Without to much waffling, this is what I have been loving this week…

For Moo’s birthday she received this lovely book. H already had The Little Boy Who Lost His Name and we are always reading it. Moo absolutely loved this one and I can see it being one we go back to time and time again. It was definitely a good buy from Nanny and Grandad!

Er… Whats happening in The Walking Dead?! We still do not know about Glenn, and I have so many questions about last weeks episode my brain is going to explode!

We finally caught up with Supergirl thats been on our planner for a few weeks now. A tad cheesy but quite a good watch.. Im intrigued as to how the series will pan out.

And I cannot pass this bit up without mentioning the John Lewis advert… They get better every year..

I am sure everyone has heard this song by now, with the shares on Facebook, Twitter and no doubt the TV. As I said above, John lewis seem to nail it with the christmas music every year {in fact on all their adverts} This piece is definitely something I have been listening to a lot {and the original to}

and the original.. I can’t decide which one I like more…

Which one do you prefer?

This week has been so mild. On Wednesday evening at school pick-up I was freezing and was wishing I had dug out the gloves. Fast forward a few hours and I was stripping off in the playground {just the coat!} I was having a bit of a hot sweat. I am getting a bit fed up with the constant change in climate and wish it would make its mind up!

Last week I made Moo’s birthday cake. I decided on a Piñata cake and although I managed to get myself in to a tizz, with the hundreds and thousands, I was so pleased with the outcome. Moo was amazed and said it was the best cake ever, so a win all round!

‘And lastly..’

I have taken the decision to finally go self hosted! I know I know, I so behind with the times. Ive been blogging now for 3 years {ish} and I think now is the time to do it. I am hanging of a few months till the new year, but I am so excited, scared and giddy at the thought of having my blog how I want it. Thanks to the lovely Sian from pottymouthedmummy for talking me through it as well! She is a clever lady!

I am linking up with the ever so lovely Morgana over at her new blog Coffee Work Sleep Repeat  for this linky,

Your cake looks fantastic. It’s got me licking my lips. I like the John Lewis advert but I’m astounded it cost 7 million to make! Going self hosted is a good decision, I’m sure it will go very smoothly for you when you take the plunge x

7 million is quite a hefty amount to spend on an advert! The cake was lovely 😉

LOVE that cake! Think I’ve just found the cake I’ll be attempting to make my little one for his birthday.

You’ll be fine going self hosted, it seems scarier than it is honest 😉

    Have a great weekend x

That cake looks amazing! It has been so mild, it’s crazy although it was a bit colder today and I didn’t like it at all! I don’t know how I will cope with Jan and Feb! x

It was so cold yesterday I had to get out the gloves! I don’t mind the cold, I just need to be prepared for it! Yesterday was not enough warning after the mild weather!

The John Lewis ad is amazing but as Louisa said i was pretty shocked at the amount it cost. Wow that cake is fantastic-i wouldn’t know where to start! Those books look like a fab idea, might be a Christmas List add on.x

I didn’t realise how much the advert cost to be honest! Slightly over priced!! The books are wonderful, definitely recommend!
