The One Where All I Do Is Gush About Moo…

A few weeks ago Moo received her very first school report. I have been taken aback at how well Moo has got on this year and what she has achieved, I was really interested to see what her teacher thought. She has had some really good feedback on her parents evening so I was not to worried about what was going to be said in the report.

With it being her very first one, I sat and read it with her. I told her this is what her teacher thought and also what her head teacher thought of her. Mid year, Moo received a letter in the post from her head teacher saying how proud she was of her and how she makes her smile. It really boosted her confidence and was a really lovely thing to do {I did ask a few mums in the playground if there children had received one, thinking it was a bog standard letter but they hadn’t so it was even more special}

she loves to laugh and finds most things hilarious

This was one quote that stood out, she laughs a lot and most of the time we don’t know what at!

her play is often related to real life experiences i.e making cakes with play dough or playing schools in small world

She adores setting up a chair and pretending she is the teacher, I remember I used to do it when I was younger, bossing imaginary children around!

What got me the most and made me tear up a little was what the head teacher said

She never fails to make me smile, she comes into my office, she finds everything funny, its contagious

I am blown away with this report.. There is so much more in there that details how far she has come.. She has started of her academic life with full marks and I could not be more prouder…

She keeps telling me how nervous she is about heading into year one, I am just as nervous! But if she deals with it like she has dealt with reception she will be perfectly fine, she just needs that little push, that little bit of confidence thats buried deep down to make an appearance every now and then to help her though it, she will always have me to help her out and get her through it too!

    Such a sweet post. I’m proud for you too and we’ve never even met! I can only hope that my little ones get reports like this, I think laughter makes the world a much happier place. Well done Moo. X

      It really was such a lovely report! I don’t remember my report ever being like what I have read with Moo’s. It seemed really personal and very touching!
