A Family Getaway To Center Parcs | Part Three

I have written about our first three days here and the following three days here if you want to catch up on what we have been up too. We had a wonderful 7 day break to Center Parcs Elvedon. We went with the whole family and although H and I were ill for 3 of the days we still managed to fit in some activities, which we all really enjoyed.

Thursday was a complete wipe out for me, I actually slept the whole day and was woken by Mr B when he came back to check on me. I was gutted I didn’t get to go out and Den Build with the kids. Most annoying Mr B took part in another team building High Ropes challenge, which again I missed out on, but he filled me in once he got back to the lodge and it sounded like so much fun! G and H spent the morning Den Building with their cousins and auntie and they both spoke about how much they enjoyed it. Mr B also took part in a Lasar Clay Shoot Out, which again sounded like fun, and everyone seemed like they enjoyed it. I on the other hand slept and caught up on some TV! We had a takeaway pizza for dinner and then Mr B headed to the pool one last time with G whilst I stayed back with H.

I finally made it to the pancake house on Friday! Oh what a delight it was. I had a build your own stack with strawberries, Nutella, Maple Syrup and crushed flake. It was a sugar overload, but definitely worth the wait! We had a last mooch around the shops, where I bought myself some Cath Kidston mugs and the standard fridge magnet! I was so sad to be going home. I had such a wonderful week, even though I was ill for some of it. It was wonderful to get away from all things normal. I woke the following morning missing the ducks, missing the quietness of the woods and missing the family.
