Weekend (Crochet) Treats…

This weekend saw Mothers day. I didn’t do anything, I did get a card hand picked from Moo and some chocolates which won’t take me long to plough through, but the husband was in fact working, so it was just any other day for me.

I managed to get some crochet done this weekend, just practising, ready for my class I am attending on Tuesday. I have now managed to complete a single crochet stitch, double crochet and a treble! I mighty chuffed with one’s self and and pretty pleased with the tiny squares I have produced! They are coming along nicely and once I start I tend to want to just carry on! Ive seen a gorgeous ripple blanket I want to make so my next aim is to practice a small ripple sample ready for the big task!

In between crochet practising I managed to make a delicious raspberry cheesecake, I was a bit worried about how well it would turn out but it went down well after our sunday roast yesterday, another blog post coming up with the recipe!

Thank you, I am not set on a project just yet. I am just practising making different types of flowers or different kinds of motifs. I aim to make a blanket when I am more confident! x
