The Half-Way Reveal

A few weekends ago I finally reached the half-way mark on my ripple blanket. Its been a labour of love. I am quite surprised at how long its actually taken me! I started last July and I knew that I would never be finished for the winter, but I am determined to get it complete by this winter!

I struggled at first with the ripple, the first few colours I found a little tedious and was tempted to give up and just do a granny stripe.. The first few rows I made plenty of mistakes but I am so pleased I persisted with it..

I love the ripple and I love the colours.. I am so pleased I did all the tying off, It was a lobourous task but one that needed doing as now I will only have half to do when I finally finish!

So a few sneaky pictures of the halfway mark, I am so excited about actually finishing it, still a fair bit to go but I can see the end is in sight!

That may be the most beautiful blanket I have ever seen. Such a labour of love, perfect! I can’t wait to see the finished article x
