prestige christmas hampers | review

With Christmas fast approaching, now is the ideal time to start planning. When Prestige Hampers sent me one of their Luxury Christmas Hampers to review, I was thrilled. It was a valid reason to start feasting on goodies, and I could also test how good these hampers would be for gifting to others. My perception of hampers has massively changed since I received mine. I assumed that its something you bought the older generation, but I think they have become very popular over the past decade and will definitely be a huge contender for those harder to buy for people.

The hamper I received came tightly boxed and well presented. I was blown away with the actual size of the hamper, and when I finally got the basket out I was really impressed with the quality of the basket. The details of the claps and buckles were really a lovely touch. Once in, it really was like Christmas, the gifts just kept coming and I was amazed at just how much was on a single hamper.

The hamper I was sent included:

Butterfly Tree Chardonnay 75cl
Butterfly Tree Pinotage 75cl
New English Tea English Tea 10s Purple Ships
Yorkshire Crisps Cured Ham & Pickle 100g
Lily O’Brien’s Petit indulgence collection 48g
Farmhouse Biscuits Sticky Toffee Pudding Biscuits 150g
Love Popcorn Cocoa Crisp 27g
Beanies Double Chocolate Coffee 50g
Shortbread House Shortbread with Cinnamon & Demerara 150g
Dormens Chocolate Covered Raisins 100g
Coles Figgy Christmas Pudding 275g
Farmhouse Cranberry & Pumpkin 100g
Chocolate peanut brittle 100g
Mrs Bridges Christmas Preserve with mulled wine 250g
Mrs Bridges Christmas Marmalade orange & cranberry 250g
Large Handmade Wicker Hamper

Over the past week, I have been diving into it and already loving the goods it has produced. The Beanies Double Chocolate Coffee has been a big hit with James. The wine, has gone down very well and I have loved the Popcorn, shortbread and chocolates. I have decided that some bits can be put away for Christmas. The preserves, Nuts and Christmas Pudding especially!

Overall I am really really impressed with this hamper full of Christmas. Its my favourite time of year. It’s a lovely mix of items, some for more everyday treats, others that are perfect for the holiday season.  I am definitely going to think more about buying Christmas gift hampers for people.  Especially with the range that’s available nowadays, and at different prices too!

I was gifted this hamper for the purpose of this review.
