MY TOP POSTS OF 2016

MY TOP POSTS OF 2016

2016 was a fairly good year for my blogging antics. I should of blogged more {I said I would} but it didn’t quite happen as often as I wanted. I blogged enough though and this year I intend to throw myself into mummyheartsyou whole heartedly.

The new year makes me think back as to what I actually blogged about last year. Here are some of my top posts of 2016..

1 Him & Me Mr B and I celebrated our 9 year wedding anniversary in 2016 and I just rambled about how much I love him, how much he does for me and the children and how lucky was that he chose me.

2 The Reveal – Crochet Ripple Blanket It took me 15 months to complete my first ever big blanket. I had previously made a baby blanket but this ripple was extra special, it was all mine and I am still very much mad about it as I was when I finally got round to the big reveal.

3 The Fear Of Failing I was having a little parenting wobble when I blogged this. I was struggling as a parent and thought I was pretty crap at this mummy lark. It soon became clear that I wasn’t the only one who feels pretty useless as a parent sometimes.

4 My Life In Limbo This blog has been a huge outlet for my melanoma journey, so when I heard news that I would need yet more surgery after my first follow up appointment, it only felt natural to blog. My life is still very much in limbo, and everything is still up in the air, but I am looking at the positives, its the best thing to do in situations like this

5 The Enemy Another post about my Skin Cancer journey. The summer of 2016 felt like I was battling with the sun. Constantly protecting myself from the enemy. It was hard, it was not a friend and it won’t be for a very long time.

6 Its Not Always Picture I popped up a post about how blogging and social media can tell a very different story. I never want to paint a perfect picture on this blog, I want to share the good, the bad and the ugly.

7 The Learning Curve That Is Parenthood I blogged about how I am still learning daily about parenting. I struggle and I am not afraid to say it. Its hard and my children push me, I wont lie, its the hardest job I have ever had to do.

8 I Am The 1 In 2 Again I was blogging about my Melanoma journey. I sometimes struggle so much to get my head round it and I find the best medicine is to just type. I am sure more posts will go up like this in 2017

9 That Sibling bond My children may argue alot, they may bicker alot but they do love each other very much and the summer of 2016 they grew closer together and had each others backs. It was so lovely to see their relationship grow.
