– Triple Chocolate Brownies –

I do love a chocolate cake. I have been making my way through my new cake book now for sometime and I am really loving some of the recipes {albeit some being a little weird!} So a few weeks ago, I made the triple chocolate brownie recipe and although I had them when they were warm out of the oven, once they had chilled they were a tad dry, so maybe next time I make them I will warm them back up!

  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 200g dark eating chocolate, chopped
  • 110g caster sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 15g plain flour
  • 150g white eating chocolate, chopped
  • 100g milk eating chocolate, chopped

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C/160°C Fan-assisted. Grease a deep 19cm square cake tin; line the base with baking parchment, extending paper 5cm over the sides
  2. Melt on a low heat the butter and dark chocolate in a medium bowl over a saucepan until smooth. Let it cool for 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the sugar an the eggs then sift in the flour. Mix in the white and milk chocolate
  4. Spread the mixture into the tin
  5. Bake the brownies for about 35 minutes. Cool in the tin before removing and cut into 16 squares.
