– Mars Bar Krispie Cakes –

Oh I do love a Rice Krispie cake {as well as a cornflake cake!} This weekend I thought I would whip up a traybake as we had visitors over for lunch. It was so easy and quick to make, I may of made some up again on Monday {they were just too moorish not too}



  • 75g butter
  • 3 Mars bars, sliced thinly
  • 3 Large teacups rice krispies
  • 125g milk chocolate
  • 15g Golden syrup


  1. Grease a swiss roll tin. Put the butter, mars bars and golden syrup into a large pot and melt slowl over the hob, keep mixing well untill it’s all melted together.
  2. Add the rice Krispies and mix well being careful not to smash the krispies. Press into prepared tray.
  3. Melt the chocolate and drizzle over the top of the krispie mix. Chill and cut into slices to serve.
